As the cornerstone of Anesthesiology practice, airway management is a procedure frequently performed by anesthesiologists as well as emergency physicians and intensivists. Since airway devices and techniques continually change, trainees must achieve proficiency with all of the various instruments and methods, and practitioners routinely need to update their airway skills. The Difficult Airway: A Practical Guide provides practical guidelines for improving the success rates of airway managers of all specialties who use modern airway devices and techniques. The book addresses various clinical scenarios in a user-friendly format that mimics the approach clinicians encounter at educational workshops. Sections address airway devices and techniques, awake intubation, algorithms of difficult airway management, pharmacologic adjuncts useful in airway management, equipment, preoxygenation, and patient positioning strategies to ensure effective airway management. The Difficult Airway: A Practical Guide is augmented by a DVD containing video demonstrations of airway management techniques.
- Topical review of current airway management devices and techniques
- Ideal for trainees and established practitioners
- DVD of demonstrations of airway management techniques

A message to the VISITORs:
This site is worth joining. Its not only an e-book hub, its a cooperative society, where everyone contributes to get more.
I have never seen a this sort of a ‘club’, with genuine effort and whole hearted commitment, so that you are guaranteed to get several times of what you contribute (In terms of Money and beyond).
This is NO Fake! This is 100% original and real forum. Do consider to join it and make it more affluent. I believe all of the monetary contributions are spent at enriching this site with newer (and the rarest) materials, and not just for sheer profit-making. I think, profitability was not the core idea behind this site being put up, its all about cooperation and spreading knowledge.
Its sister sites too are great performers. Please do consider to join them too.

A very similar title from Oxford has been “Emergencies in Anaesthesia” by Allaman & Wilson, which is again, yet to be found online.
I hope, “Emergencies in Anaesthesia” will also be posted after “Anaesthesia for Emergency Care”.
