The book Dermatoscopy and Tricoscopy is a pretty nice for dermatosurgeons and dermatologist. This book is compiled with the intent of creating a bank of images of applications of dermoscopy in diseases affecting the brown skin like melasma, Schamberg’s disease, vitiligo, ashy dermatoses and lichen planus. It is divided into six sections: basics, hyperpigmentation and hypopigmented disorders, inflammatory skin diseases, trichoscopy and miscellaneous dermoscopy applications. Basic section deals with the technique of dermoscopy and videodermoscopy, applications and patterns of diseases in dermoscopy and choosing of dermoscopy instruments for practice. Section on trichoscopy discusses variations including phototrichogram, trichoscan, folliscopy and hair analysis. It profusely illustrated with more than 200 coloured images and illustrations thus creating a bank of images on application of dermascopy.
