This book mainly focuses on Orthopedics and trauma for undergraduate medical students to understand and grasp the essential facts and thereafter prepare for the examinations. Orthopedics is currently gaining importance as we see the increasing numbers of accidents and trauma patients, and reconstructive surgery. The standard of demands of the patients is increasing, simultaneously, with the advances in the medical care field and they expect doctors to tell them every minute detail. Thus, it’s important for the medicos of today to be groomed to face their patients with sound and practical knowledge and sincere honest approach. In this book, efforts have been made to keep medical students aware about the advances with emphasis on the core subject with diagrams and figures which are self-explanatory and practical.
